Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant interpreter training or certification preferred*
- Certifications Requirements: ASL Interpreter certification (e.g., NIC or equivalent)*
- Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of interpreting experience, familiarity with educational settings, working with gen ed and self-contained students*
- Other Requirements: Ability to work 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday; experience working with diverse student populations; excellent communication skills; background check and relevant licenses may be required

Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret American Sign Language (ASL) for students in various educational settings.*
- Facilitate communication during both 1:1 and group sessions with gen ed and self-contained students.*
- Work collaboratively with educational staff to support student learning and inclusion.*
- Adapt to different classroom activities and demonstrate flexibility in interpreting styles.*
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and interpreter code of ethics.
