This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality header boxes while meeting strict ASME code requirements. Candidates must have advanced welding skills, experience with pressure vessel or header fabrication, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Required Experience & Skills• Class A welding experience required• Proven experience fabricating and welding ASME header boxes• Strong knowledge of ASME welding codes, procedures, and quality standards• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds• Strong understanding of welding safety practices• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Perform root pass welding on header assemblies• Complete end block welding with precision and accuracy• Execute nozzle attachment welding according to specifications• Fabricate and assemble header boxes to engineering drawings and ASME requirements• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with ASME codes and quality standards• Perform visual inspections and make corrections as needed to maintain weld quality• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment• Follow all company safety policies and fabrication procedures• Work with production personnel to meet quality and scheduling goals Preferred Qualifications• Previous pressure vessel or heat exchanger fabrication experience• Experience working in heavy industrial manufacturing environments• Familiarity with quality inspections and ASME documentation requirements• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Requirements• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various welding positions throughout the shift• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly• Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE• Comfortable working around heat, sparks, heavy steel materials, and fabrication equipment Work Environment• Industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility• Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, heavy materials, and shop noise• Safety-focused environment requiring consistent PPE compliance• Overtime opportunities may be available based on production demands Why You'll Want This Opportunity• Competitive starting pay of $30.00/hour with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications• Stable first-shift schedule with overtime opportunities• Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity• Opportunity to work on high-quality ASME fabrication projects• Supportive team environment with opportunities for continued career growth Ready to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 4 PM
