This position is responsible for welding box headers and related components while meeting strict ASME code, customer specifications, and production standards.The ideal candidate has strong multi-process welding experience, can interpret fabrication drawings, and consistently produces high-quality welds in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous experience performing MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding required Strong knowledge of ASME welding procedures and quality standards Ability to successfully complete required weld tests Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and welding specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing code-quality welds Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanshipEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on box headers and related components Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding procedures Ensure all welds meet ASME code requirements and customer quality standards Work with a variety of materials and welding processes to complete production requirements Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, and workmanship Maintain productivity while meeting strict quality and safety expectations Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety procedures Follow all company welding procedures, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulationsWeld Test RequirementsCandidates must successfully complete:2G MIG & Flux Core Weld Test(Radiograph/X-Ray and Bend Test)2G Stick Weld Test(Radiograph/X-Ray on -inch plate)Preferred Qualifications Previous ASME pressure vessel or header fabrication experience Experience working in heavy industrial or oil & gas fabrication environments Knowledge of welding codes, procedures, and inspection requirements Ability to work independently in a production-focused environmentPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in multiple welding positions throughout the shift Ability to safely operate welding equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working around heavy steel, heat, sparks, welding fumes, and industrial machineryWork Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication facility Exposure to welding equipment, heavy steel materials, overhead cranes, heat, sparks, and fabrication machinery Fast-paced production environment focused on safety, quality, and precision workmanship Overtime opportunities available based on production demandsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $30.00/hour with higher pay based on experience and qualifications Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule with overtime opportunities Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to work on critical ASME fabrication projects with a highly skilled team Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement and continued professional developmentReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
