Job Description
AWC is hiring an ASP.NET Web Developer at our corporate office in Tacoma, WA. This position is a hybrid schedule.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$112,000 plus Bonus.
Purpose
The ASP.NET Web Developer supports AWC's strategic and operational goals by designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications and reporting solutions that leverage corporate databases. This role partners with internal departments to translate business needs into technical solutions that improve data access, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ASP.NET MVC applications that interact with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Enhance existing applications to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for developed solutions.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across applications.
- Analyze database structures and recommend improvements as needed.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Validate data accuracy to support informed decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed in an office environment.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Standard office tools and systems are required, including computers and Microsoft applications.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET MVC applications
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including query development and performance optimization
- 1–2 years of experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and NET framework
- Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and normalization principles
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
- Familiarity with version control systems and development best practices preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset and passion for technology
