2401 S. Broadway Ave. Moore, OK 73160, USA - *Full-Time.

Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company – is seeking a Asphalt Laborer to perform a wide range of duties depending that may change depending on the type of project they are working on and the team members they are working with.

Responsibilities:

Rake/Shovel asphalt in construction area.
Assist in patching asphalt with hot/cold mix.
Maintain a clean job site: pick up tools and equipment and secure jobs site each day.
Material Handling and storage.
May operate a variety of hand and power tools.
May assist with craft workers.

Asphalt Laborer/Operator Skills:

Some skills necessary to perform all the different tasks associated with this job:

Equipment such as – bobcat, front end loader, paver, tractor and screed.
Detailed oriented and team spirit.
Measure work area accurately.

Qualifications:

Physical ability to stand long periods of time.
Physical ability to bend and crouch.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.
Must be adaptable to changes in work environment; frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time: Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
