Job Description:
Follow standard operation procedures and good manufacturing practices to perform various processes, potentially using small tools, to manufacture medical devices in a clean room environment. Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork
  • Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed
  • Communicate effectively/positively with co-workers
  • Enter batch information into database
  • Utilize small hand tools and/or precision devices to aid in the manufacturing process
  • Perform manufacturing operations with few errors (demonstrates high quality work)

Requirements:

  • Basic math and English skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Basic computer and software skills, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
  • Highly skilled in two main manufacturing processes.

Main manufacturing processes are defined as:

  • Pad Printing, Heat bonding, UV Curing, Laser welding, Catheter inspection, RF Welding, HLH, Vacuum lamination, Balloon blowing, Catheter annealing, PVA spraying, Split die lamination, Dip coating .

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in a certified cleanroom or lab. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
