Job Description

Position Overview: The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and components into completed products used in specialized equipment for physical therapy, chiropractic, and athletic training applications. This hands-on role involves the use of various tools, adherence to work instructions, and maintaining quality and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assemble product components according to detailed work instructions and quality guidelines.
  • Use hand tools, jigs, and testing devices to ensure proper construction and function of each unit.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout the production shift.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation related to production and quality checks.
  • Monitor and restock parts and materials using Kanban or similar inventory systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support team members and production flow as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Working Environment:
  • This role takes place in a manufacturing facility with a focus on team-based production.
  • Noise and physical activity are part of the daily routine.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move frequently throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel required.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:
    • Prior assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
    • Strong mechanical skills or aptitude for using tools and reading measurements.
    • Basic computer literacy for completing forms and accessing instructions.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Experience with soldering or electrical components.
  • Woodworking or fabrication background.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings or blueprints.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery or processes.
