JOB DESCRIPTIONContractor will be on a 9/80 schedule.
General Position Summary:The Service & Repair 1position has the primary responsibility to service and repair products per work instructions performed in a non-environmentally controlled environment. Service & Repair 1 is a direct labor position working in a standard production environment which includes hazardous materials.Core Responsibilities:Read work instructions (DI)Verify work instructions match assignmentVerify incumbent is trained to perform work instructionsCollect required materials from binsSet up work stations per work instructionPerform service and repairs and inspect own work as instructedAbility to learn to perform data entry documentation and in computer softwareLearn new work instructions as required by SupervisorMiscellaneousComplete required training in a timely mannerAssist other service and repair staff with their duties as requestedAssist with other projects as requested by a member of managementEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Skills/Qualifications:Must show proof of Hepatitis B shots or willing to get shots (company paid)Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructionsAbility to record data on documentation and in computer softwareAbility to understand verbal work instructions from SupervisorAbility to lift up to 25 pounds on a repeated basisClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) / Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)Basic knowledge of windows based computer softwareBasic math skillsAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distanceAbility to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructionsAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsAble to succeed in highly regulated compliance oriented environment while still providing service excellencePreferred Qualifications:IPC soldering certification preferred
