Assembler I (On-Site)

HEPCO is seeking an Assembler I for our client. In this role, you will perform production and assembly activities by building a variety of components, subassemblies, and assemblies using common hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality standards.

• Assemble a wide range of components, subassemblies, and assemblies according to work instructions and routing operations
• Use common hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly processes
• Follow acceptance test guidelines and quality requirements
• Read and interpret work instructions and work orders to complete assigned tasks
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Properly package, store, and handle finished goods as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Stand for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or assembly environment, technical schooling in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to use both hands to manipulate, handle, and assemble components
• Experience using basic hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment
• Ability to lift, move, pull, and transfer materials weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Pay Rate: Up to $18.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
