AssemblerBecome a key part of a high-performing team in Grand Island, NE at a world-class manufacturer, in a safe and friendly environment! Job Duties:
- Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten components and sub-assemblies to chassis in the required order and sequence
- Work from engineering specifications, work instructions, sketches, schematics, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions
- Perform necessary adjustments as units progress down the assembly line
- Identify, record, and report defects, improper operations, faulty equipment, and defective parts to supervision or management
- Visually inspect parts and complete assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance
- Assist in the development and improvement of assembly practices and procedures
- Move materials as needed to perform job duties
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
- Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations
- Perform touch-up or minor repair work when assigned
- Complete other duties as required or directed
- Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturday operations
