This position is responsible for assembling metal components, subassemblies, and finished products while maintaining strict production, quality, and safety standards.The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working with tools and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of mechanical or assembly experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production instructions Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals Ability to communicate effectively in English Welding or blueprint reading certifications are preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Study assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists before beginning production Gather required parts, tools, and materials for assembly operations Assemble fabricated parts into subassemblies and finished products according to specifications Read work orders and follow production drawings or verbal instructions accurately Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welders, drills, presses, and other shop equipment Perform testing and calibration to verify components meet required tolerances and specifications Conduct go/no-go inspections using measuring and testing equipment Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements Support additional manufacturing and production duties as assigned Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environmentPreferred Qualifications Previous heavy industrial manufacturing experience Welding experience or certification Blueprint reading certification or advanced mechanical training Experience with production testing and quality inspection proceduresPhysical Requirements Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs or more Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPE Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial manufacturing environmentWork Environment Heavy industrial manufacturing facility Exposure to production machinery, fabrication equipment, hand tools, and active manufacturing operations Fast-paced environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity Physically demanding role requiring consistent movement and teamwork throughout the workdayWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $17.00/hour Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity with growth potential Weekly pay Excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates to build a career in industrial manufacturing Team-oriented workplace with opportunities for advancement and continued skill developmentReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
