This position is responsible for building specialized ASD (Shielded) Doors from blank door cores using blueprints, hand tools, power tools, and air tools while maintaining exceptional quality and safety standards.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and can work independently while producing precision-built products.Required Experience & Skills Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16-inch increments Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and air tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication skills Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbsEssential Duties & Responsibilities Fabricate ASD (Shielded) Doors from blank door cores according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, including special-order drawings Measure, cut, assemble, and install door components accurately Join completed doors to frames and perform final assembly Build shipping skids and crate finished products for shipment Safely operate hand tools, power tools, air tools, and sit-down forklifts Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in facility housekeeping and shared cleaning responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing proceduresPreferred Qualifications Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D blueprints Previous manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or woodworking experience Sit-down forklift experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and experience working with precision measurementsPhysical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements throughout the shift Routine lifting of materials up to 50 lbs Occasional lifting of materials up to 100 lbs Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while wearing required PPEWork Environment Industrial manufacturing facility PPE provided by the employer (employees must provide their own steel-toed boots) Tobacco-free workplace (no smoking, vaping, or smokeless tobacco permitted on company property) Team-oriented environment focused on quality, craftsmanship, and safetyWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay with overtime opportunities Stable Monday Friday first-shift schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to build specialized products in a precision manufacturing environment Supportive team with opportunities to expand your fabrication and assembly skillsReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
