Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assembly Technician at our Gonzales, LA location. This position is responsible for the assembly, setup, and pre-delivery inspection of tractors, utility vehicles (RTVs), lawnmowers, and attachments to ensure they meet safety and quality standards prior to delivery or pickup.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble equipment including tractors, RTVs, mowers, and implements according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and functional testing to ensure proper operation.
- Install accessories, attachments, and customer-specific modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on service and assembly orders.
- Operate equipment safely for loading, unloading, and movement within the yard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop and assembly areas.
- Assist with other shop duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or equipment repair preferred.
- Personal toolset sufficient to perform core job duties (special tools provided).
- Working knowledge of small engines, hydraulics, and basic mechanical systems.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in Kubota Service EDUCATE training programs.
