This position works Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 8p-8a

The Assessment Clinician I evaluates individuals seeking behavioral health/substance use treatment, seeks justification for admission, and coordinates level of care expectations with physicians, Assessment Referral Center, personnel, patient care units, and external agencies and develop relationships with community partners by consistently providing quality services. The Assessment Clinician I conducts insurance pre-certifications for individuals evaluated and may provide assessment services for various patient populations including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Education and Experience:

(1) Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Family and Marriage Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or other related fields required.

Experience:

One year of experience in mental health field and previous experience in crisis intervention or an assessment/diagnostic setting (preferred)

Licensure:

Valid Driver's License (required for Mobile Assessment Clinicians only)

Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)

Facility-provided Safe Crisis Management training (required)
