Radial Power is seeking an Asset Management Analyst Intern to support our growing portfolio of distributed solar and storage assets. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of operating clean energy projects post-commercial operation date (COD), including performance monitoring, financial reconciliation, compliance tracking, and investor reporting.

In this role, you will work closely with the Asset Management team and collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Customer Management. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented and curious individual who is eager to learn how renewable energy assets operate and deliver long-term value.

Requirements

  • Support monthly revenue and incentive reconciliation by comparing actual performance to forecasts, reviewing utility bills, and assisting in identifying discrepancies across revenue streams such as REC, PPA, and PILOT payments
  • Assist in tracking post-COD contractual and regulatory obligations, including PPAs, leases, REC registrations (e.g., GATS, NYGATS), and regulatory filings
  • Help prepare quarterly performance and compliance reports by compiling production data, commercial updates, and key milestones
  • Coordinate with internal teams during project handoff from construction to operations, helping ensure documentation and deliverables are complete and organized
  • Assist in monitoring asset performance, outages, and maintenance activities in collaboration with the O&M team
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation efforts using tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar platforms
  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into portfolio performance and key KPIs
  • Support tracking and compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements
  • Help prepare performance and compliance reports by compiling production data, commercial updates, and key milestones

Qualifications

Education:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data analytics, finance, business, environmental studies, or a related field

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in financial and operational data
  • Experience or coursework in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about renewable energy systems and asset performance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Interest in technology, automation, and data tools (experience with Excel, Power Automate, or similar is a plus)
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance or regulatory frameworks (federal, state, or local) is a plus, but not required
