This role will be performed onsite in the Nashville office.
Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners ("AJCP") is seeking an Asset Management Intern to support portfolio performance analysis and asset-level execution while contributing to the firm's continued growth across hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental investment platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Asset Management Intern will support the AJ Asset Management team in monitoring and optimizing performance across a diverse portfolio of hospitality, mixed-use, and residential assets. This role provides hands-on exposure to portfolio strategy, financial performance analysis, and asset-level execution within a fast-paced investment environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Monitor and analyze financial and operating performance across portfolio assets to identify trends, risks, and value creation opportunities
- Build and maintain asset management dashboards and reporting tools to support executive and investment team decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling related to asset performance, new openings, capital projects, and operational initiatives
- Prepare materials and presentations for executive reviews, investor reporting, and lender communications
- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to support underwriting assumptions and portfolio strategy
- Partner with operations and platform teams to improve system workflows and reporting tools, including Toast, Lightspeed, and Tripleseat, to enhance asset-level visibility and performance tracking
- Support cross-functional coordination to streamline reporting processes and improve scalability across the portfolio
- Assist asset managers with performance reviews and ongoing monitoring to ensure property results align with business plans and investment objectives
WHO YOU ARE
AJCP is seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment environment and is eager to learn across asset management, finance, and hospitality operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, and operational awareness. This role also requires:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operating data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Adaptive is a plus
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate across investment, operations, and corporate teams while managing competing priorities
- Self-starter mindset with adaptability to ambiguity and evolving business needs
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field
- Working knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting concepts
- Demonstrated interest in real estate asset management, portfolio performance, and hospitality investments
