Job Description:

The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Elementary and Middle Level Education seeks applications for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor of K-8 Classroom Management position, starting in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching this undergraduate course on campus from 8:00 am - 9:15 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a face-to-face class taught on campus so remote work is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in elementary education or related field plus at least three years of teaching experience in an elementary school required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with peer coaching, and/or teaching preservice or new teachers about classroom environments and management preferred.
