Assistant Airport Site Manager - Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Sunshine Cleaning Systems, a Pritchard Industries Company, is seeking a dedicatedAssistant Airport Site Manager to join our team at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.The Assistant Airport Site Manager will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in overseeing janitorial maintenance operations within all Terminals at the airport. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The airport is a 24-hour operation.Responsibilities:

• Oversee all janitorial maintenance activities at the airport.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the airport.
• Train and mentor janitorial staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and maintain equipment inventory and maintenance records.
• Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to janitorial services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Fill in for the Supervisors when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in facilities management is a plus.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in janitorial maintenance.
• Experience in computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Demonstrated skills to manage janitorial maintenance operations at an airport or similar facility.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to janitorial maintenance
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and any of the three shifts.
• Applicant is subject to the approval of the Airport Authority.
• Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge

• Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)
