The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for overall operations and staff supervision in the manager's absence. They should also be able to perform all essential function of any branch position as needed including processing transaction, loan interviewing, completing reports etc.
Who You Are
- A collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
- Experience and knowledge to handle situations in a calm and resolute manner.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with branch manager about daily branch operations.
- Interview members for loan applications and assists with the loan process.
- Resolve member inquiries regarding credit union products or services.
- Provide excellent service to members.
- Perform basic teller or financial transactions.
- Explore opportunities to mentor employees.
- Supervise branch personnel in the absence of the branch manager.
Education and Experience
- 2 years of courses from an institution of higher learning at the college level.
- High school diploma or GED Required.
- At least 1 year within a financial institution required; leadership role preferred.
