Job Description
The Assistant Director of Communications is responsible for assisting the Director of Communications in implementing a comprehensive communications program for the County through the dissemination of County policy, programs, services, and special events to the public. The Assistant Director fields media inquiries and facilitates media interviews as needed, writes and edits news releases and other public information materials for publication, and supports the Director of Communications in managing the Communications Department budget.
