Assistant Director Of Environmental Services

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Assistant Director of Environmental Services at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. The Assistant Director of Environmental Services (EVS) reports to the EVS Director and assists in leading the department. This position is responsible for developing and executing environmental services solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Manages and trains the managers at 2 large acute care hospital sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of Environmental Services operations while maintaining the established quality standards, safe operation and complete regulatory compliance by training, supervising, evaluating, and motivating assigned personnel in their work
• Leads and develops the management team and ensures compliance with all Aramark Healthcare+ programs.
• Ensure quality audits and inspections are completed according to standard.
• Develop and be accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt
• Analyze all financial reports for facility operations, as well as reviewing all financial measurements with managers and directors to ensure achievement of financial goals
• Actively foster a positive relationship between Aramark and the client and responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is provided
• Ensure administration of HR Policies and interprets and ensure compliance with company policies such as safety, sanitation and purchasing.
• Responsible for staffing, development of personnel, training and education
• Participate in development of operational component forecasts and can explain variances

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of experience in an Assistant Director of Environmental Services role
• Requires up Healthcare experience within an Acute Care Hospital
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers
