Dermott City Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Dermott, AR. The ADON will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations.
- Participate in staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes as needed.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Arkansas.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a nursing leadership role within a long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in electronic medical records and related healthcare software.
