Summary
City Market Co-Op is seeking an Assistant Front End Manager to oversee Front End operations and ensure the highest standard of prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to the City Market shopper. As a member of the Management team, you will be a driving force in fostering a safe and welcoming environment to our staff, vendors, customers, and community!

Day-to-Day Duties
- Assisting The Front End Manager to oversee all Front End Operations, including staffing, setting/meeting goals, department budgeting and ensuring accurate cash collection.
- Following established personnel policies and utilize appropriate recognition, training, development, and corrective action practices with Front End employees
- Working with Facilities and IT departments to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all technological and mechanical systems in the Front End.
- Ensuring compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent two-year degree or five years of related work experience.
- Minimum of two-years of retail, cash handling or related experience AND management experience including but not limited to: hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, and developing staff.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and public speaking skills are essential.
