Assistant Fund Controller - Banking - NYC

The Assistant Fund Controller will support the financial operations, reporting, and oversight of the firm's funds.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established investment firm that manages private investment vehicles across multiple strategies. The organization is known for its collaborative culture and emphasis on disciplined financial operations.DescriptionSupport fund accounting and reporting for multiple private investment vehicles (e.g., PE, growth equity, co-investments)Assist with quarterly and annual financial statements, capital account statements, and investor reporting

Coordinate with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors

Review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models

Assist with management company accounting and expense allocations

Support audit and tax processes, including data preparation and review

Help improve internal controls, processes, and reporting efficiencies

Strong understanding of private equity or alternative investment fund structuresCPA or CPA-track strongly preferred

Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with fund accounting systems a plus
