Why This Role Matters
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Housekeeping leadership in coordinating daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain a high level of positive and professional interaction with employees, coworkers and guests.
- Assist in assigning daily work schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet occupancy demands.
- Provide on-the-floor leadership presence to support team members and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and brand presentation standards are met.
- Assist with training, mentoring and performance management of housekeeping team members.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens, supplies and equipment and assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and health regulations and company policies.
- Address guest concerns and housekeeping-related service recovery promptly and professionally.
- Maintain effective communication with Front Desk, Maintenance and other departments to support guest needs.
- Assist with tracking and maintaining housekeeping records, logs and reports.
- Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by leadership.

Requirements:- Previous housekeeping supervisory or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organization and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25+ pounds
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Compensation details: 45000-50000 Yearly Salary
