Job Description

Big Fish is seeking an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in our high-volume, food-first waterfront restaurant featuring live music, sports watch parties, and a large indoor/outdoor bar environment. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality instincts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. The position is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and will start in late June 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
  • Lead and support front-of-house staff during service.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and floor execution.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
  • Work closely with ownership and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and team culture.
