ASSISTANT MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SWIM COACH

Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Swim Coach, to begin July 2026. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Men's and Women's Swim Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Head Coach in all facets of a Division III Men's and Women' Swimming program
• Organizing and conducting on deck coaching
• Assisting in recruiting prospective student athletes who fit the mission of the culture, of the program and college
• Assisting the program with marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
• Provide mentoring and support for the student athletes, particularly in regards to academic and player development
• Complying with all NCAA, conference and college policies and regulations
• Assist with any community service and fundraising initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Prior collegiate coaching experience, preferably on the collegiate level.
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office, with specific skills in Excel preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the college's auto insurance carrier

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
