Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital the Congestive Heart Failure Unit provides care to adults with a variety of medical diagnoses, including, but not limited to, cardiac conditions such as AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker, ICD placements and soon LVADs. Our newly renovated 32 bed unit is a nationally recognized Center Of Excellence for Heart Failure. Primary patient diagnosis on this unit is acute or chronic CHF.

✅ Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff✅ Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput✅ Support performance management and regulatory compliance✅ Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence✅ Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment✅ Lead through change and innovation✅ Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication

What You’ll Need

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in Connecticut
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred:

• MSN degree
• Leadership experience or relevant certifications

Work Schedule

• 40 hours Days – Full-time
