Job Description
- Our hospital is calling for RNs in Anchorage, Alaska.
- Hours: Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) and this is for Night Shift-0840
- In collaboration with the management team focuses on daily department operations.
- Supervises personnel and coordinates activities of Nursing.
- Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the mission of philosophy of the hospital's Health System.
- Serves as a role model for nurses, physicians, and department support staff, exhibiting the Core Values in all activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years- Clinical experience.
- 2 years- Recent clinical supervisory experience or charge nurse experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree- Nursing (All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing or higher within 30 months of hire. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis at each facility by the most senior administrative nursing leader in consultations with the Human Resource Leader.)
- Certification within area of expertise or practice (Nursing Management, CCRN, CEN, etc.) upon hire.
