Job Description

Salary: $90,000 annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal in daily school operations and serve as acting leader as needed

  • Supervise instructional staff and support classroom management and student behavior

  • Assist with curriculum development, school policies, and instructional improvement

  • Ensure compliance with IEP, IDEA, and MSDE requirements

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

  • Participate in student placement, admissions, and Extended School Year (ESY) coordination

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and high-performing school environment

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in School Administration, Educational Leadership, or related field

  • Maryland Administrator I or II Certification (or eligibility)

  • Experience in special education, school leadership, or instructional supervision

  • Strong knowledge of IEP law, IDEA, and school compliance standards

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a positive school culture
