Summary
TheAssistant Production Planner provides administrative support to assist the Production Planners with scheduling Assembly production that supports customer delivery expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates work orders for Production Assembly for the min/max program.
- Works with the Production Planners to communicate with other sites regarding materials requests.
- Reviews open work orders in process to ensure materials are consumed properly.
- Generates packing slips for the Shipping Department.
- Assists the Production Planners to performs required transactions in Oracle.
- Runs reports as directed by Production Planners.
- Performs other administrative functions as directed by Planners.
Job Requirements
- HS degree. Associates Degree preferred
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
- High sense of urgency and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to manage time and priorities
- Ability to work approximately 20 hours/week (flexible schedule)
