The Role at a Glance

As an Assistant Professor in the College of Dental Medicine, you will contribute to the academic and professional development of dental students through instruction, assessment, and mentorship across a variety of educational settings. Working closely with students and faculty, you will help bridge foundational knowledge with clinical application while promoting evidence-based practice and a culture of continuous learning. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about student success and the future of dental healthcare.

  • Inspire and develop future dental professionals through engaging classroom, simulation, and case-based learning experiences that help students build confidence and clinical competency.

  • Make a meaningful impact on student success by mentoring, assessing, and guiding learners as they progress toward becoming skilled, compassionate practitioners.

  • Help shape innovative dental education by integrating evidence-based practice, biomedical sciences, and modern teaching approaches into the curriculum.

  • Collaborate with dedicated faculty and community partners to support curriculum alignment, public health initiatives, and exceptional student learning outcomes.

  • Stay at the forefront of the profession by utilizing emerging technologies, advancing your expertise through calibration and training, and contributing to a culture of lifelong learning.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications):

  • DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent

  • Teaching experience at the pre-doctoral level is preferred
