Assistant or Associate Professor of Teacher Education

Expected Start Date: Fall 2026

Midway University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Teacher Education. This position is expected to begin in Fall 2026, contingent upon available funding and demand. This position is a 9-month, non-tenured position. Rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

This position will play an important role in advancing the University's commitment to preparing students for careers in the discipline. The position requires the ability to teach in-seat and online courses at the undergraduate level, as well as participate in accreditation and assessment activities. The successful candidate will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues. All Midway faculty, unless otherwise specified, are expected to advise students, serve on university committees, be engaged in campus life, and maintain currency in their field. While research is not required, research with students is encouraged.
