We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. This position works closely with Project Managers, Project Executives, field leadership, clients, and internal departments to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations.

Responsibilities

Support multiple electrical construction projects from planning through completionMeet regularly with Project Managers to review schedules, budgets, staffing, and project progressAssist with project budgets, monthly projections, billings, and receivablesMaintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, schedules, budgets, and change ordersCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, and other project resourcesWork closely with field leaders to support staffing needs and daily project executionHelp price change orders and gather the information needed to complete proposalsCommunicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departmentsIdentify potential project risks and assist with implementing solutionsSupport compliance with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety standardsAssist with estimating projects as neededLearn and utilize project management and estimating systems, including Accubid, COINS, and Autodesk BuildHelp maintain existing client relationships and identify future project opportunitiesPromote a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferredCandidates with at least two years of construction field or office experience will also be consideredElectrical construction experience is strongly preferredStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with a proactive and professional approachComfortable working independently and collaboratively with office and field teamsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility and willingness to learn construction estimating and project management software
