ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Director in executing day-to-day on-site activities from design through turnover and closeout. This role collaborates closely with design and construction teams to help deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced sports and entertainment venue environments.
THE PROJECT
This role sits within Legends Global Owner’s Representation, which provides project management services for major sports and entertainment venues and other complex public assembly facilities. Projects are fast-paced and stakeholder-rich, requiring strong coordination across owners, designers, builders, and specialty consultants on site.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Field Oversight & Team Coordination
- Support monitoring of the design team and construction team to help the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.
- Assistwith day-to-day on-site review of work in the field and coordination across stakeholders.
- Attend required meetingsand,as needed, capture meeting minutes for project records.
Schedule, Quality, and Compliance Support
- Help monitor adherence to the agreed project schedule and escalate risks as appropriate.
- Support reporting on quality and help resolve non-compliance items, including jobsite inspections.
- Assistwith managing testing and inspections to supporttimelyapprovals.
Documentation, Reporting, and Closeout
- Maintain current project files and support preparation of monthly reports and other reporting tools.
- Assistwithmonitoringthe RFI and submittal process and support permit/inspection/approval tracking.
- Support invoice reviews and payment applicationprocesses, andassistwith turnover and closeout documentation.
WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or Engineering (preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Administration Representative.
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility across internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiencywith MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) and tools such as Procore and MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Ability to multi-task,deliver ondeadlines, and work effectively in fast-paced jobsite environments.
