Job Description

We're representing a well‑established GC seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a major, long‑term public project within the aviation sector. This role is ideal for someone who's strong with documentation, financials, and large change orders, and who enjoys working as part of a structured project team.

Client Details

A growing, family‑oriented GC with 20+ years in business, known for design‑build, ground‑up, and interiors projects across hospitality, retail, industrial, office, education, and specialty sectors. They promote heavily from within, maintain exceptional employee culture, and are expanding rapidly across MA and RI.

Description

  • Support a high‑visibility aviation/public sector project with significant documentation and financial components.
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders (including lengthy/complex packages), and other project controls tasks.
  • Work on a project team alongside multiple PMs and a PX, reporting into senior project leadership.
  • Track budgets, forecasts, subcontractor billing, and schedule updates.
  • Coordinate with field teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Maintain excellent organization and attention to detail within Procore.
  • Assist with overall project logistics, administration, and compliance requirements.

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • A background in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage project timelines and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Procore and strong project controls capability.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve challenges efficiently.
