We're supporting a leading Construction Management & OPM firm in hiring an Assistant Project Manager to join their growing Rhode Island team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑visibility public K-12 projects while developing long‑term career growth within an employee‑owned, highly reputable firm.

Description
- Assisting in day‑to‑day project coordination, documentation, and reporting
- Supporting budget tracking, cost updates, and schedule management activities
- Leading RFI, submittal, and change order processes using company systems
- Working closely with owners, design teams, and subcontractors to maintain project progress
- Conducting site walkthroughs and helping manage project quality, safety, and compliance
- Preparing meeting minutes, procurement logs, and other critical project documentation
- Utilizing Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, and MS Office for project controls
- Ensuring work aligns with CM‑at‑Risk requirements and public procurement standards
Profile
- 2-3+ years of project coordination or APM experience in construction
- Background in K-12, higher education, or public‑sector projects
- Experience with CM‑at‑Risk or OPM delivery preferred; GC background also welcome
- Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to commute to Warwick, RI and travel to project sites as needed
