Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a respected and growing commercial construction company with more than 25 years of experience delivering high-quality projects across retail, healthcare, restaurant, office, and adaptive reuse sectors. The business is known for its collaborative approach, strong client relationships, and end-to-end project delivery services spanning pre-construction, design-build, construction management, and renovations.

Job Description

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
Support the project team in maintaining schedules and budgets.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress updates.
Oversee compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and team members to resolve issues.
Monitor project performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Participate in meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in construction management (Required)
Commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
Experience with retail, adaptive reuse, medical office, restaurant, or office projects preferred
