Assistant Project Manager- Construction- Southport

Job Description

  • Coordinate project schedules, materials, and site activities to keep construction work on track.
  • Track project documents, including plans, drawings, and change information, so teams have current details.
  • Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal project contacts to address day-to-day needs.
  • Help monitor project progress and flag schedule or coordination issues for review.
  • Support the preparation of project updates, meeting notes, and action items.
  • Review incoming project information and organize records for clear follow-up.
  • Coordinate site visits and meetings to help maintain alignment across project activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager- Construction- Southport should have:

  • Experience with custom homes, luxury residential, or high-end renovations
  • 2-5 years of construction experience, ideally with a GC or custom builder or Architect.
  • Strong understanding of plans, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Comfortable working in the field and coordinating with supers and subcontractors
  • Strong organization and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Hands-on, team-first mentality and comfortable working closely with ownership
