Assistant Project Manager- Custom Homes
Our client is a Charleston-based general contractor with more than 20 years of experience delivering high-quality construction projects across the Lowcountry. Originally founded as a custom home builder, the company has grown into a respected contractor serving residential, multifamily, mixed-use, restaurant, office, and commercial markets. Known for its strong local relationships and commitment to quality, the company maintains a collaborative culture built around service, trust, innovation, and accountability.
Assist in planning, organizing, and managing custom home construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion.
Conduct site visits to oversee progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and reports.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
Identify and resolve project-related challenges in a proactive manner.
Support the Project Manager in daily operations and decision-making processes.

A successful Assistant Project Manager- Custom Homes should have:
Experience in residential construction, preferably custom homes
Exposure to luxury residential projects and high-end finishes
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors
Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
$80,000 - $95,000 base salary
