Commercial Interiors General Contractor Assistant Project ManagerOur client is a respected Commercial Interiors General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workplace, retail, hospitality, and tenant improvement projects throughout NYC. They offer a collaborative, team-oriented environment, a healthy pipeline of work, and a genuine commitment to employee growth and development.Job DescriptionAssist Project Managers in overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout. Support project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and clients. Track project progress and help ensure critical milestones are achieved. Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and closeout activities. Experience in commercial interiors and/or retail construction projects
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, or similar construction software
Eager to learn and develop into a Project Manager role
