Job Description

Assistant Project ManagerThe Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:Assist the Project Manager in the execution of ground-up multifamily development projects from preconstruction through project closeout.Help prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.Support the procurement and contracting process with subcontractors and vendors.Oversee the management of project documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.Participate in project meetings with internal teams, owners, design consultants, and subcontractors.Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, and reporting to senior leadership.Coordinate with field staff to ensure effective communication between the office and jobsite.Identify potential risks or delays and proactively assist in developing mitigation strategies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
