Assistant Project ManagerThe Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:Assist the Project Manager in the execution of ground-up multifamily development projects from preconstruction through project closeout.Help prepare and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones are met.Support the procurement and contracting process with subcontractors and vendors.Oversee the management of project documents, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.Participate in project meetings with internal teams, owners, design consultants, and subcontractors.Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, and reporting to senior leadership.Coordinate with field staff to ensure effective communication between the office and jobsite.Identify potential risks or delays and proactively assist in developing mitigation strategies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).3-4+ years of experience in ground-up multifamily or hospitality construction.Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong desire to grow into a Project Manager role within a collaborative and supportive team.Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regional team environment.What is on offer for the Assistant Project Manager:Competitive Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)$7,500 Sign-On Bonus20 days of PTO + Paid HolidaysComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchOpportunity to work with a national leader in luxury multifamily construction while helping to build out the company's Connecticut presence.
