Assistant Store Manager (Waterbury Retail Store)

Duties and responsibilities would include: providing superior customer service to our visitors; educating customers about Cabot cheese, our farmer-owners, and all other products in the store; assisting patrons with making selections; helping to coordinate in-store events; assist with placing store product orders; and receiving / stocking inventory.

Essential Job Functions:

• availability to work a 40-hour work week - must be willing to work at least one weekend day and on some holidays;
• capacity to multi-task;
• exemplary customer service as a team player and independently;
• effective communication and problem-solving skills;
• desire to become part of a unique team that cares about quality products and customer service;
• attend trainings, both immediate and ongoing, to gain essential food safety and product knowledge;
• individual will report directly to the Retail Store Manager.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Retail Store Manager.

Anticipated starting rate is between $47,000 - $52,0000 yearly.
