Job Description

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Boston Seaport store! This role is a perfect blend of leadership, creativity, and operational support—you’ll play a key role in driving store performance, developing the team, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support day-to-day operations, including team coaching, visual merchandising, and inventory management, while also contributing to store marketing, events, and community engagement. You’ll be a hands-on leader, working closely with the Store Manager to create a positive and high-energy environment for both guests and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Store Manager to motivate the team to perform at their best.
  • Open and close the store independently, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Engage with guests, share our brand story, and help them find the perfect pieces.
  • Coach and support new and existing team members to build a strong, high-performing team.
  • Introduce new products to guests and recommend items based on their needs.
  • Effectively handle in-store guest issues and answer questions related to merchandise and store policies.
  • Process transactions accurately on the POS system while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
  • Keep the sales floor tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing in alignment with brand standards.
  • Assist in maintaining backstock and setting up merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Support operational tasks such as inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, beading table management, and tracking sales KPIs.
  • Help conduct weekly and quarterly cycle counts, reporting inventory discrepancies and trends to the Store Manager.
  • Fulfill in-store custom orders.
  • Help plan and execute in-store activations, community events, and brand partnerships to drive foot traffic and engagement.
  • Assist with in-store bead bar appointments, parties, and special events to create unforgettable moments for guests.
  • Support daily store operations, including cash handling and security.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning store environment for both guests and employees.
  • Step in as the acting Store Manager when needed and be a key problem-solver in the store.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a retail leadership role (Assistant Store Manager, Key Holder, or similar).
  • A strong guest service mindset and the ability to create meaningful connections.
  • An eye for visual merchandising and experience with inventory management.
  • Passion for retail marketing, events, or social media.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and adjust to business needs.
  • Alignment with our values – Passion for kindness, positivity, and community-driven retail.

This role is perfect for a proactive and enthusiastic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment. If you’re ready to take the next step in your retail career and bring your passion for guest engagement, merchandising, and brand storytelling to life, we’d love to meet you!
