- Deliver outstanding customer service: Greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.
- Assist with daily store operations: Opening and closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized store.1
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and their benefits, and educate customers on bird feeding best practices and conservation efforts.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the Store Manager and team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.2
- Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, recommending products, and providing a seamless checkout experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Create attractive and informative product displays that enhance the customer experience.
- Must have at least 2 to 3 years of retail management and sales experience.
- Interest in the backyard bird feeding hobby or nature is preferred but not required. We will train you!
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20-50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will include closing and weekend shifts, and working during busy holiday periods and sales.
