Job DetailsThe Assistant Yard Manager will work closely with the Superintendent and Yard Manager, helping coordinate day-to-day operational activities including workforce coordination, documentation, scheduling assistance, and administrative tasks that support field operations.This individual will serve as a key point of organization between the field teams, yard operations, and internal systems, helping ensure that crews and leadership have the information and resources they need to operate efficiently.Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to the Superintendent and Yard Manager
• Assist with crew coordination, scheduling updates, and operational tracking
• Help maintain employee records, timesheets, and payroll coordination through ADP
• Utilize Excel and internal systems to track operational information
• Assist with material tracking, yard coordination, and equipment logistics
• Support field teams with documentation and administrative needs
• Communicate with field personnel to ensure information is organized and up to date
• Help maintain general organization across operations, yard, and field activities

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish / English) strongly preferred
• Comfortable using computers and software systems (Excel, ADP, etc.)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Interest in learning construction operations and field support
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
