Pay rate ranges from $61.71 to $66.86 based on experience. Job Summary:N/AJob Responsibilities:-Supervises and monitors Case Management activities.

• Conducts and coordinates Case Management Nurse s orientation and training.
• Develops Case Management Department policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments.
• Identifies, documents, and trends utilization issues; creates and facilitates implementation of solutions with appropriate staff/departments.
• Serves as resource person to Case Management staff and other hospital personnel.
• Represent the Director at meetings and in the Director s absence.
• Identifies problems by taking appropriate measures to ensure resolution.
• Interprets and assures compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Conducts other duties as requested by management to ensure efficient department and hospital operations.
• Performs other related duties assigned by supervisor. In an emergency, other duties are performed necessary for the welfare of patients or the efficient operations of the institution.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in direct patient care.-Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in quality assessment or utilization management.-Critical thinking, math, and computer skills.

• Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.
• An individual in this position may be exposed to: Adverse indoor environmental conditions, Blood borne pathogens, Blood and body fluids, Physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.), communicable diseases, chemical hazards, radiation, and repetitive motions.
• Full range of body motion, able to lift up to 100 pounds, if necessary, to assist lifting and moving patients.
• Manual and finger dexterity, as well as hand and eye coordination.
• Corrected vision and hearing to within normal range.
• Frequently sitting at desk working on computer.

Education: Required Education:-Bachelor s degree in nursing (BSN).Preferred Education:-Master s degree in nursing (MSN).Required Certification & Licensure:-Registered Nurse; licensed in New York State.

• Case Manager Certification (CCM).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).Preferred Certification & Licensure:-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
