Job Description
As an Associate - Industry, Partnerships & Alliances (IPA), you will join a highly collaborative and elite group of professionals who are charged with engaging with C-level executives, industry leaders, and former Government Executives to educate and advise potential clients on business incentives and high value consulting services that will strengthen their business. Besides learning from the best in the business, you will add a unique dynamic to the team by creating and strengthening our distribution channel through existing channels, creating new channels, leveraging secondary service lines, and your own personal network.

Responsibilities:
Foster and grow relationships with national Industry Associations and Alliances
Research, confirm, attend, and network at industry events and conferences to generate leads that alliant can bring value
Partner with the senior level business development directors and relationship directors in various markets to extend the firm's practice lines
Educate CPA channels, alliances, and businesses on multiple service lines that they may be eligible for
Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and referrals to drive business and value to the firm and U.S. businesses
Leverage and establish further connections with alliant's strategic advisory board into untapped markets
Establish credibility and execute as a world class leader in the consulting industry
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred 4+ years of professional business development experience and working hand in hand with senior executives and the C-suite
Experience in a professional services environment, highly complex consulting environment, or executive search firm is highly preferred
Proven success record selling and maintaining relationships in the C-Suite
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong client service, with the ability to "create raving fans!"
Ability to build business over the phone and in person with a highly consultative approach
Flexible attitude, self-motivated with proven experience bringing in generous revenue.
Collaborative, self-motivated, competitive, and highly professional
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially strong Excel skills)
Experience working in Salesforce a plus
High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
Available to travel 30-40% within the United States
Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
