Job Description

Position OverviewWe are seeking a creative, open-minded, and results-driven individual to join our Business Transformation team. This role will operate as an individual contributor responsible for structured analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project execution, while building capabilities across process design, systems implementation, and change management. The Business Transformation Associate will support and guide cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and enable sustainable and scalable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executives and other departmental leaders to identify transformation opportunities, create a compelling business case, and define project scope and goals

  • Consult with the internal business and departmental leaders to capture and translate business requirements and processes, and guide them through the development and presentation of new transformative projects and initiatives

  • Manage end-to-end business transformation projects, meeting objectives, timelines, & budgets

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste

  • Quantify costs and resource requirements, as well as financial benefits for transformation solutions

  • Prepare materials for cross-functional workshops, conduct data-driven analysis, and engage stakeholders to map current processes, design future state processes, and define key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Drive change management efforts (communication plans, training, and stakeholder engagement)

  • Develop and maintain project reports and dashboards; use data-driven insights to monitor and track projects, identify risks, and implement corrective actions 

  • Collaborate with technology teams to identify and implement digital solutions and automation opportunities, including emerging technologies

  • Drive the definition and adherence to internal processes that ensure consistency and quality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business transformation, project management, or GIS-enabled environments

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex business process improvement projects

  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate, reach consensus, and foster a culture of inclusion, curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Structured problem-solving; process/data analysis skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work effectively within cross-functional teams

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, etc.) – Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus

  • Project management skills – PMP certification is a plus.

  • Experience in the energy or construction industry is a plus

  • Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)

  • Proficiency in Office 365 including PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Base Pay

$93,000.00 - $113,000.00 USD AnnualBonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
