Job Description
• Job Title: Inventory Associate• B-shift M-F 3pm-130am• Location: Orlando, FL• Type: Contract / On-Site• Compensation: 28 per hour
Responsibilities • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects. • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to inventory and fulfillment processes. • Properly operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks, adhering to safety and maintenance procedures. • Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and inspect packages for quality and compliance with SOPs. • Conduct quality control checks on parts and materials, ensuring adherence to standards. • Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools. • Input data into inventory systems, navigating modules and reading information to complete tasks efficiently. • Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout the workflow. • Sort, stage, and move packages and containers securely to prevent loss or damage. • Label and mark parts according to SOP requirements for proper tracking and analysis. • Store parts properly, perform storage audits, and follow SOPs for inventory management.
Requirements • Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years and companies if specified). • Experience with receiving or shipping inventory, including put-away, picking, kitting, or shipping tasks. • Willingness to drive a forklift with training. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Fundamental knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks. • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. • Ability to navigate inventory management systems and perform data entry accurately. • Good judgment in storage and packaging practices.
